The story revolves around Kadhir, an unemployed, irresponsible, and aggressive young man living in the 7th block of Rainbow Colony, Chennai. He is the second son of a lower-middle-class family. His father is constantly frustrated with Kadhir’s lack of ambition and his habit of loitering with friends, drinking, and getting into petty fights. Kadhir has no direction in life until a new family moves into the same housing block.
