If these fell out of sync—common after a Windows update, antivirus cleanup, or profile reset—the software would default to the installation language or simply ignore the user’s preference.
Look for a key named Language or LanguageID.
Double-click it and change the value:
If the key doesn’t exist: Right-click in the right pane → New → String Value → name it Language → set value to 1033.
Click OK, close Registry Editor, and restart ACDSee.
