The official "manual" is basically a safety pamphlet. It does not tell you how to disable the Secure Boot or turn off the loud CPU fan. acer aahd3-vc motherboard manual

How to enter BIOS: Mash F2 or Del during boot. (On some X3995 models, it is F12 > "Enter Setup").

The problem: Acer hides 90% of the settings (VT-x, Legacy boot, Wake-on-LAN) behind a "hidden" menu. System does not power on:

What you can finally change:

  • Expansion slots across lower half: one PCIe x16 for GPU, one or more PCIe x1 or legacy PCI.
  • CMOS battery and clear CMOS jumper near lower area — jumper labelled CLR_CMOS/CLRTC.
  • System fan headers: SYS_FAN1 (and possibly SYS_FAN2).
  • Onboard headers for speaker/keyboard lock (OEM-specific).

    • Labeled J_BIOS_REC. Shorting this forces the board to read BIOS from a USB stick. Refer to the service guide for exact procedure.
