Because Autodata CDA3 was designed for Windows XP, modern Windows versions often block certain processes. Forcing compatibility usually resolves the crash on startup. Find the main executable file, usually named Cda3

  • Find the main executable file, usually named Cda3.exe.
  • Right-click on Cda3.exe and select Properties.
  • Click the Compatibility tab at the top.
  • Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
