Forget running. Forget "juking." Here is your game plan:

Let’s be real. In a game full of teleporting Gale dancers and button-mashing dagger users, sometimes you just want to hit hard and never stagger.

Welcome to the Golem’s Judgement build. This is the current meta-defining Heavy Weapon setup designed for Chime of Conflict and Voidwalker hunting. We are maximizing survivability, posture damage, and one-shot potential.

Heavy Weapons scale solely with the Heavy stat. Unlike Light or Medium weapons, there is no "Way of" talent card required to two-hand them; you simply need to invest points into Heavy to meet the requirement of your chosen weapon.

If you leave the Isle of Vigils without these, you are not a heavy build.

Stage 1: The Torture (Power 1-8) You are slow and weak. Go to the Songseeker Wilds. Murder bandits with the basic Iron Greataxe you spawn with. Prioritize Fortitude to 40 first before your damage stat. Survivability > Damage.

Stage 2: The Spikes (Power 9-14) Go to Ministry. Get Frostdraw to 20. Farm the golems. You finally unlock Lumbering Slam. You can now kill a golem in 3 hits. Farm the Adret tribe for Meditation to swap mantras easily.

Stage 3: The Monster (Power 15-20) Go to Starswept Valley. Your goal: The Duke Erisia fight. Use your Ice Eruption + Skull Crusher combo. He cannot parry the ice if you time it right. Farm him until you get the Enforcer's Axe. Once you have that, you beat the game.

Overall Verdict: 6.5/10 – Useful as a template, but “best” is a myth.

The concept of a single “best” heavy weapon build in Deepwoken is inherently misleading. Heavy weapons are in a decent place, but the game’s constant balance patches, PvP vs. PvE differences, and personal playstyle make a universal “best” build impossible. Most guides or Reddit threads claiming otherwise are either outdated or oversimplified.
