For a franchise as kinetic and loud as Beyblade, video game adaptations have historically been hit-or-miss. Often, they fall into the trap of being generic RPGs or clunky fighters. Beyblade Burst Battle Zero (released in Japan in 2018) is a standout entry that attempts to translate the raw physics of the spinning tops to the Nintendo Switch. While it has a specific target audience, it manages to be one of the more competent entries in the series.
