Body: Hey everyone,
I’ve created a small tool to help players who bought non-English versions of Blur (often from Steam keys or retail discs in Eastern Europe). By default, these versions often lock the language to the region of purchase. Blur Game English Language Pack Patcher
What does it do? This patcher injects the English language pack into your game directory. It converts the game to full English (Audio + Text).
How to use:
Note: Please backup your original game files before patching, just in case you want to revert changes later. Happy racing!
| Problem | Solution |

| Game still shows Russian/Polish after patching | Delete data\ui\_rus.loc or _pl.loc if the game prioritises them. Or run patcher again with “Force overwrite”. |
| Missing text (blank menus) | Your patch is incomplete. Copy fonts folder from English version. |
| Cutscenes still have foreign audio | The patch didn’t include English voiceovers. You must download separate English speech.dat. |
| Patcher asks for movie.dat password | Some repacks encrypt movies. Use repack or RG as password, or get an unlocked version. |
| “Patch failed – file in use” | Close Blur and any file explorer windows. Run as admin. |

Disable antivirus temporarily – Some patchers are falsely flagged as malware (they edit executable files). Add the game folder to antivirus exclusions instead of disabling entirely.
Ensure you have the latest version of Blur – The patcher works best with version 1.0 or 1.1. Update if needed. Note: Please backup your original game files before
Close the game – Do not run the patcher while Blur is running.
