Windowed mode caps frame rates. Press F11 to enter true fullscreen, then press Shift + Ctrl + F (depending on the site) to lock the canvas resolution to your monitor.
High quality means the game runs at the native resolution of your monitor or at least 1080p. The pixel art should be sharp, not blurry. Text should be readable without squinting. The UI (health bar, enemy count) must render correctly.
