While Babi is enjoying her new life, strange and dangerous things start happening around her. She begins receiving threatening messages and notices she is being followed. At the same time, her professional life collides with her personal life when she realizes that a high-profile money laundering case she is auditing at work might be connected to the criminal underworld—and potentially to Marco.
Babi begins to suspect that her lover might not be who he says he is. She fears she has walked from a simple heartbreak into a dangerous criminal conspiracy. She has to figure out if Marco is trying to protect her, or if he is using her for her access to financial records.
