Technicolor CineStyle is a "Picture Style" profile (a .pf2 file) that you load onto your camera. It essentially tells your camera’s processor to flatten the image as much as possible.

It acts similarly to "Log" gamma profiles (like S-Log on Sony or C-Log on Canon Cinema cameras), but it is optimized specifically for the sensors found in consumer Canon DSLRs.
