Before installing, ensure your Mac is compatible:
A: Stata is a large program (~700 MB to 1.2 GB). University WiFi may throttle speeds. If it fails, try a wired connection or use a download manager like Folx to resume the broken download.
Once you have clicked the legitimate download Stata Mac link and the .dmg file is on your computer, follow these steps:
