The Knight realizes that while he shed his physical armor (the metal), he has built a new, invisible armor made of concepts, theories, and words. He speaks beautifully about truth but feels empty inside. He must embark on a new journey to reunite the King (the Mind) and the Queen (the Heart).
The book uses Jungian archetypes to explain the internal battle we all face:
