You cannot run this on an old Raspberry Pi. You need a specific Android TV box. The best candidates include:
Warning: Do not confuse v7 (S905X4) with v4 (S905W) or v5 (S905X2). Using the wrong DTB will brick your boot sequence. emuelec 4.5 v7
Problem: The WiFi chip (typically a Realtek 8822CS or 8832) doesn't load.
Fix: In EmuELEC 4.5, SSH into the device (root / emuelec). Run dmesg | grep wifi. You likely need to manually load the module:
modprobe dhd
systemctl restart wifi
