Emuelec S905w (2027)

If you are expecting to play God of War (PS2) or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch), the S905W is not the right hardware. However, it excels at the "Golden Age" of gaming.

Playable Systems:

The Limit: Due to the lower clock speeds of the S905W compared to newer chips, PSP performance is mixed (best for 2D PSP games), and Dreamcast/N64 may require tweaking frame skipping.

EmuELEC uses a Samba share (Windows Networking) or SSH. emuelec s905w

  • Once files are copied, press Start > Game Settings > Update Game Lists (or simply restart EmulationStation).
  • You can slightly overclock the S905W by editing the s905_autoscript (advanced users only). A clock speed of 1.2 GHz GPU is safe for most boxes, but the S905W gets hot. Do not overclock if your box has no heatsink.
