Why specifically Update 4?
You cannot install Update 4 on a clean install of Version 2.9. The upgrade path is: Eplan Electric P8 Version 2.9 Sp1 Update 4 X64

After updating, dongle-based licenses may appear disconnected. Fix: Reboot the Eplan License Manager service on your license server. For local dongles, reinstall the Sentinel drivers. Note: Update 4 supersedes Updates 1, 2, and 3
