The ET-2400 is an EcoTank, meaning it has no cartridges. However, Epson implemented a "key code" system. When you lift the tank lid, you will see four colored caps (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow). Underneath each cap is a chip reader.

⚠️ Important: The ET-2400 does not use cartridges. Ink is poured into tanks. After refilling, the printer usually auto-resets the ink levels when you press and hold the ink button. If not, see Section 6. The ET-2400 is an EcoTank, meaning it has no cartridges
If you reset the waste ink counter more than 3–4 times without cleaning the pad, ink will spill inside your printer.
