Facebook Handler - Apk Android 23

Google’s App Links (introduced in API 23) allow automatic verification via .well-known/assetlinks.json. Facebook uses a similar mechanism. Developers should implement:

The handler is part of Facebook Services. Go to Settings > Apps > All Apps. Look for:

Clear the cache and data for both. Then uninstall updates (or uninstall them entirely) and reboot your phone. After reboot, update them via the Google Play Store.

The Handler often temporarily caches OAuth tokens or session cookies in memory. On API 23, without full disk encryption enforced (optional in Marshmallow), a rooted device could extract these tokens via memory dumping.

The primary purpose of a "Handler" app was to bypass data charges or compress data.
