If you own a used FANUC robot (e.g., R-2000iB, LR Mate), the original controller often comes with a “software CD.” That CD contains Fanucprg.exe tied to that specific controller’s serial number. This is not “free” but part of the hardware purchase.

FANUC offers HandlingPRO – a simplified, free version of RoboGuide focused on material handling. It is limited (fewer robot models, no advanced welding/painting), but it runs on the same Fanucprg.exe engine.

If you cannot get a FANUC license, but you need to learn FANUC coding syntax, use the free FANUC Virtual Robot (available on the Microsoft Store or via WebSim).
