WARNING: This is not a children's hydration pack. The 145 PSI output can cause soft tissue injury if the spray nozzle is misused.

Independent testers at GearJunkie and Survivor’s Edge put the Helen Lethal Pressure Crush 24L through a brutal battery known as the "Crush Protocol." The pack was:

Results: The pack held pressure without leaking. The only damage was scuffing on the ballistic nylon outer layer. Notably, the "Lethal" biostatic liner prevented any off-odors even after three weeks of water storage at 30°C. Helen Lethal Pressure Crush 24l

The term "Lethal Pressure Crush" sounds intimidating, but the applications are surprisingly civilian-friendly.

Most people think of crush as implosion — the walls cave inward. In Helen 24L, the crush was outward. The pressure inside briefly exceeded the outside by a factor of 2.3. The chamber tried to become a balloon. Then it tried to become shrapnel. WARNING: This is not a children's hydration pack

The only reason the lab still exists is because the 24L was designed with a sacrificial port — a burst disk that blew at 1,500 atm. It saved the building. It did not save Helen.

After the event, forensic engineers found the internal test article reduced to a dark smear with a single recognizable feature: a stainless steel bolt that had been extruded through a 6mm hole, leaving a perfect thread impression on the opposite wall. Pressure had turned a bolt into a bullet, then into a stamp. Results: The pack held pressure without leaking

The included pump mechanism (integrated into the shoulder strap) allows the user to add air pressure to the 24L bladder. A color-coded pressure release valve prevents over-inflation. At full 145 PSI, the system can project a stream of water over 30 feet—enough to douse a campfire or perform emergency eye irrigation from a safe distance.

The Helen Lethal Pressure Crush 24L is a high-density, collapsible hydration reservoir and carry system with a total capacity of 24 liters (approximately 6.34 gallons). Unlike traditional water bladders that rely on gravity or light suction, the "Pressure Crush" system utilizes a proprietary multi-layer laminate that can withstand internal pressures of up to 145 PSI.

This allows the user to not only store water but to actively pressurize the system, turning the 24L pack into a mobile firefighting unit, a high-flow decontamination shower, or a multi-person drinking station. The "Lethal" designation in the name refers to the military-grade biostatic lining that prevents microbial growth for up to six months without chemical treatment.
