Hello Kitty Island Adventure -nsp--update 1.10.... May 2026
Absolutely. The base Hello Kitty Island Adventure v1.0 was charming but shallow. You could "complete" the friendship levels with the main cast (Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll) in about 15 hours. Update 1.10 adds roughly 25 hours of new content.
Furthermore, this patch fixes the "Friendship Fatigue" bug where characters would stop giving daily quests. Hello Kitty will now pester you every 4 hours instead of 6.

For the uninitiated: Hello Kitty Island Adventure is an open-world life sim developed by Sunblink Entertainment. Players crash-land on a mysterious, abandoned island theme park and must befriend Sanrio’s all-star cast—Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, and many more—to restore the island to its former glory. Key features include:
Originally exclusive to Apple Arcade, the game’s port to Nintendo Switch (announced for 2025) has been highly anticipated. The NSP release refers to the decrypted, installable game package used on modded/hacked Switch consoles or emulators like Ryujinx and Yuzu.
One of the biggest complaints in the base game was the clunky cooking wheel. Update 1.10 introduces the Recipe Dex. Absolutely
Sunblink has already released a roadmap. Following Update 1.10, we expect Update 1.11 (Codename: "Pochacco's Run") by July 2026. However, 1.10 is the foundation for all future DLC. If you want to participate in the upcoming seasonal events (Summer Splash 2026), you must update to 1.10.
The developers have confirmed that save files from 1.10 will not be backwards compatible with 1.09. So, once you upgrade, there is no going back to the old fishing mechanics.
For the uninitiated, NSP (Nintendo Submission Package) is the native digital file format for Switch games. Unlike XCI (cartridge dumps), an NSP behaves exactly like a game downloaded directly from the eShop. Furthermore, this patch fixes the "Friendship Fatigue" bug
The Update 1.10 NSP is a delta patch, meaning it overwrites specific code rather than replacing the entire 6GB base game. However, don't let the small file size fool you. This update adds approximately 1.2GB of new assets to your microSD card, including high-resolution textures for new clothing lines and three new island music tracks.
Critical Note: To run Update 1.10, you must have the base Hello Kitty Island Adventure NSP (v1.0) installed. This patch requires firmware 18.0.0 or higher and the latest SigPatches for custom firmware users.
