Raduga's NEW VIDEO Features
It's time to be excited. By popular demand we have just released our NEW
VIDEO PLUS Version of Raduga (version 3.9.5). Raduga now does all popular
formats of video with the same ease as you've experienced with our audio only
versions. As to what kind of video formats it can play, there is one
simple answer. If Windows Media Player can play it, so can Raduga 3.9.5!Â
It's so easy to set up. Simply install [2] separate video cards in your
system (the output video card to the secondary monitor must have an S-Video
output jack), fire up your PC and place Raduga Software in the Master monitor.Â
The first time you play a video a small video window will appear on your screen.Â
Simply drag it over to the secondary monitor and double-click its center.Â
The video window will appear full screen and stay that way. In between
videos, the background will stay black. You control the output video
monitor window via Raduga from the master screen. Composite
video output available via the S-Video output jack and a composite adaptor that usually comes
with most video cards. That's it!

Kiser of Community Television in Milington, TN comments on Raduga's support... Her Love Is A Kind Of Charity Cracked
When "her love is a kind of charity cracked" becomes the foundation of a long-term relationship, the cracks do not stay small. They spider outward into every corner of life.
For the recipient:
For the giver:
For the relationship:
To understand the crack, we must first understand the structure. A love that functions as charity is built on three asymmetrical pillars:
When these pillars remain intact, the relationship functions as a quiet transaction. But the keyword we are dissecting includes a critical modifier: cracked. her love is a kind of charity cracked
In its most sinister form, cracked charitable love twists into control. Because her love is given as charity, she feels entitled to define the terms. She forgives loans and then uses that forgiveness as a weapon. She offers shelter, then dictates behavior. The crack is the moment the recipient realizes: This was never love. This was a zero-interest loan with a penalty clause of eternal servitude.
We must ask: What is it like to be on the receiving end of a love that is a kind of charity cracked?
In the early stages, it feels intoxicating. Someone is seeing your wounds, accommodating your chaos, paying your bills, or tolerating your outbursts with a saintly patience. You think: She truly loves me.
But cracks appear slowly. You notice the way she sighs when she hands you money. The way she mentions her sacrifices in passive-aggressive asides. The way her eyes glaze over when you talk about your own ambitions—because in a charitable framework, the beneficiary does not get to have ambitions that outshine the donor.
Eventually, you come to a horrifying realization: She doesn’t love you. She loves her love for you. She loves the feeling of being charitable. You are simply the tax deduction. When "her love is a kind of charity
This creates a unique form of shame. How do you complain about being given too much? How do you articulate the loneliness of being a charity case in the bedroom? The crack in her love becomes a crack in your identity. You begin to believe you are unlovable except as an act of pity.
If her love is a kind of charity, what is the crack? The crack might be conditionality – the subtle withdrawal of warmth when the recipient fails to perform sufficient thankfulness. It might be paternalism – "I know what's best for you, because you are broken." Or it might be inevitable resentment – because no human being can give endlessly without receiving, and charity, unlike grace, keeps score.
The crack, ultimately, is the fault line between the giver’s self-image (selfless, generous, patient) and the receiver’s lived reality (diminished, obligated, silent).
Not all who love charitably are villains. Many are wounded themselves. The woman whose love is a kind of charity cracked is often someone who never learned to receive love. She was raised to earn affection through service. Her mother praised her for being a "little mother" to her siblings. Her church praised her for giving until it hurt. Her culture told her that a good woman is a sacrificial one.
When the crack appears, it is not a signal to abandon love. It is a signal to redefine it. For the giver:
Whole love is not charity. It is reciprocity. It is the terrifying, glorious exchange of vulnerability. Whole love says: I am broken, and you are broken. Let us be broken together, not as benefactor and beneficiary, but as two cracked pots watering the same garden.
To move from cracked charity to whole love, three shifts are necessary:
In this dynamic, she is the Saint. Her love is displayed as a virtue. Friends and family say, "Look how much she does for him. Look how patient she is." She is celebrated for staying, for forgiving, for "loving him anyway."
He becomes the Sinner—or more accurately, the Professional Wretch. His flaws become the justification for the charity. If he were whole, he wouldn’t need her love. Thus, his brokenness is paradoxically the glue of the relationship. To get better would be to lose her love. This is the trap.
It would be easy, and lazy, to paint the woman in this scenario as merely a manipulator. The truth is more tragic. Most people who love as charity do not know they are doing it. They have mistaken codependency for compassion.
Reasons she loves this way include:
The real tragedy is that she, too, is starving. She gives and gives, but because she gives from a place of superiority, she never receives the one thing she actually needs: equal, reciprocal, unguarded love. Her charity is a wall, not a bridge.
