Many new features have been added in v5.7. Here are some of them…
Invite players to scheduled games via email. Players can accept or decline invites with a single click
The timer will automatically create the best blind structure for you to finish your game by a target time.
Run in dual screen mode for large events. Show sponsor logos and ticker tape messages to players
The timer comes with 6 preset themes, including background images and complimentary colour scheme
Edit player details and upload profile photos directly within the timer
All sounds within the timer are now customizable
The battery uses a 7-pin (2.0mm pitch) wafer-type connector. Pins are numbered from left to right when looking at the battery label side with the connector facing you.

The MU06 uses a 9-pin (sometimes 7 populated) flat ribbon cable connector, often JST or Molex compatible.
Common label on PCB: MU06 or HSTNN-LB7N. Hp Mu06 Notebook Battery Pinout Configuration
Below is the standard pinout configuration for the HP MU06 battery circuit.
| Pin Number | Label / Name | Description | Function | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | 1 | PACK+ | Positive Terminal | Main positive voltage output. Connects to the positive end of the cell array. | | 2 | PACK+ | Positive Terminal | Main positive voltage output (often bridged to Pin 1 for higher current handling). | | 3 | ID / TH | Thermistor / ID | Connects to an internal NTC thermistor. Used by the laptop to monitor battery temperature. Often serves a dual purpose as a security ID line. | | 4 | CLK | Clock (SCL) | I²C Serial Clock line. Used for SMBus communication between the battery BMS and the laptop EC (Embedded Controller). | | 5 | DATA | Data (SDA) | I²C Serial Data line. Transmits capacity, cycle count, and voltage data to the OS. | | 6 | SYS PRES | System Present | Often a logic signal indicating the battery is fully inserted. Usually pulled low or high depending on the circuit design. | | 7 | NC / ALM | No Connect / Alarm | Often unused (NC) or used for safety alerts. Can be a secondary temperature sensor in some revisions. | | 8 | PACK- | Negative Terminal | Main ground/negative output. Connects to the negative end of the cell array. | | 9 | PACK- | Negative Terminal | Main ground/negative output (bridged to Pin 8). | The battery uses a 7-pin (2
Note: Some 9-pin revisions swap Pin 6 and 7 functions. Always verify continuity between negative pins and the cell negative terminal to identify ground.
⚠️ Critical Warning: Laptop batteries operate at ~11.55V to 12.6V and can deliver high current. Do not short pins. Use a multimeter, not trial and error. Typical voltage: 3
The HP MU06 is a 3-cell Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) prismatic battery pack designed for mid-range HP consumer laptops. It operates on a Smart Battery System (SBS) compliant architecture, utilizing an I²C communication bus for data transfer between the battery management system (BMS) and the laptop’s EC (Embedded Controller).
