Sony still sells certain PS1 Classics and PSP titles digitally. You can purchase them and transfer them to a PSP or Vita.
Before we talk about games, we have to talk about web servers.
By default, when you host a website, the server looks for a file named index.html (or .php) to display a pretty webpage. If the server administrator forgets to upload that file—or intentionally disables it—the server does the next best thing: it shows a raw, text-based list of every file and folder inside that directory.
This is the "Index of" page.
It looks like this:
Index of /PSP_Games/
These directories became the back alleys of the early 2010s internet. They are unlisted, unadvertised, and usually unprotected. For collectors, finding a live "Index of" server is like finding a forgotten library in a condemned building.
Most websites hide their file structures behind pretty buttons and login screens. However, when a web server is misconfigured (or intentionally set up for sharing), it disables directory listings. When that happens, visiting a folder URL reveals a plain-text list of every file inside.
A typical Index of /psp/roms/ page looks like this: Index Of Psp Games Iso
Index of /psp/isos
[ICO] Name Last modified Size [DIR] Parent Directory - - [ ] God_of_War_USA.iso 2023-01-15 14:32 1.5G [ ] GTA_Vice_City_EUR.iso 2023-01-15 14:30 1.4G [ ] Patapon_USA.iso 2023-01-14 09:12 256M
Generic searching is inefficient. To find live, working indexes, you need to use Google Dorks—advanced search operators.
Before clicking, check the "Size" column.
Define fields (recommended)
Gather metadata
Verify files (if storing ISOs)
Organize storage
Add searchable index
Provide compatibility notes
Preservation extras
Legal-distribution options
The phrase "Index of PSP Games ISO" is more than a pirate’s incantation; it is a symptom of digital decay. As physical UMDs rot (disc rot is real) and digital storefronts close (the PS3/Vita stores almost closed in 2021), the only way to preserve this generation of gaming is through distributed, decentralized file archives.
If you choose to use these indexes, do so with respect for the developers. Buy re-releases when they appear on modern consoles (e.g., Persona 3 Portable on Steam/Switch). Use ISOs to backup your own collection. And never, ever pay for a "premium access" index of PSP games—all public directories are, by definition, free.
Whether you are revisiting LocoRoco’s catchy tunes or experiencing Tactics Ogre for the first time on your iPhone via PPSSPP, the PSP legacy lives on. The index is just the door; the memories are the destination.

Format Info: Files labeled .iso are standard disk images. Files labeled .cso are compressed images; these save space but may have slightly longer loading times on original hardware.
Compatibility: Recommended for use with original PSP hardware (custom firmware required) or the PPSSPP emulator.
Usage: To play on a PSP, place these files in the ISO folder at the root of your Memory Stick.
These "Index of" directories are dying. HTTPS and modern cloud hosting (S3 buckets, Google Drive) have largely replaced the old Apache open-directory structure. Search engines like Google have also started delisting these results due to DMCA requests.
Finding an "Index of /PSP Games ISO" today feels like finding a fossil. It reminds us of a time when the internet was wilder, less commercialized, and where a simple misconfiguration could give you access to the entire history of a handheld console.
The Takeaway: Don't use these directories to steal God of War Ragnarök for the PS5. But if you find a dusty index of Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection for the PSP? Maybe take a screenshot for the digital museum before it disappears forever. Sony still sells certain PS1 Classics and PSP
