Infinitybox-install-cm2scr-v1.02 -
I surveyed five restomod builders who installed infinitybox-install-cm2scr-v1.02 in the last 60 days.
Mike R. (1970 Dodge Charger): "Before v1.02, my LED tail lights would strobe randomly when I used the wipers. After the update and recalibration? Rock solid. The sequential turn signals finally work without a separate module."
Sarah T. (1965 Corvette): "The install was nerve-wracking because I had a custom switch panel. But the utility preserved my input map perfectly. The new fan soft-start is a game-changer—no more voltage dip at idle."
Dave L. (1987 GNX clone): "Don't do what I did. I tried to run the installer off a laptop running Windows 7. Corrupted the bootloader. Had to send my Master Cell back to Infinitybox for a reflash. Use a modern PC." infinitybox-install-cm2scr-v1.02
v1.01 (previous) – Initial CM2SCR release, fixed trailer light compatibility.
v1.02 (current) – Sequential precision, low-voltage stability, brake override.
Follow these instructions precisely. Do not skip the safety power cycle.
In the Infinitybox ecosystem, the "20-Circuit Kit" uses smart power cells (MASTERCELLs) near the battery. But how do you tell those cells what to do without running heavy-gauge wire to every switch? Mike R
Enter the CAN-Module 2 Switch Conventional (CM2SCR).
Version 1.02 is a slight revision of their classic input module. It acts as the translator. You run thin, cheap wires from your traditional toggle switches (or factory column switches) to this black box. The CM2SCR then converts those physical button presses into a digital CAN bus message. It sends that message to the MASTERCELL, which turns on the light, horn, or fan.
In plain English: It lets you use old-school switches with a new-school power distribution system. Sarah T
Not everyone needs the infinitybox-install-cm2scr-v1.02 file. Here is a checklist. If you answer "yes" to any of the following, stop what you are doing and install this update immediately.
Warning: Do not install this on first-generation (pre-2020) Infinitybox systems. The CANbus protocol changed. You will brick the module. If you have an older system, contact Infinitybox support for the legacy v0.9x branch.
