  • Choose a template or start from scratch.
    Use templates for recurring formats (e.g., 16-page signatures).

    • When you launch Preps 8, you’ll see four main areas:

  • Set pages per signature (e.g., 16pp for a 64‑page book = four signatures).
  • Set parent sheet size to match the press sheet/plate your printer uses (important: width × height).
