The name itself breaks down into two components: "Kodub" (likely a brand or developer acronym representing durability standards, possibly derived from "Kodiak Durable Base") and "Polytrack" (referring to the polyethylene-reinforced polymer matrix).
Unlike traditional concrete or asphalt, Kodub Polytrack utilizes a multi-layered extrusion process. The top layer consists of high-density polyurethane (HDP) mixed with recycled rubber granules for shock absorption, while the base layer integrates a geotextile honeycomb structure for drainage and stability.
