Kuid Search Trainz

In Content Manager, use the Dependencies view. Click on any asset, then press Ctrl + D to list its dependencies. Then, click View > Dependencies > Missing. This generates a full KUID list you can copy-paste into search engines.

There is no single “KUID search box” inside Trainz itself. Instead, you have three primary methods.

If you manage a large route (1000+ assets), manual KUID searching is impossible. Use these tools.

The Download Station is N3V’s official asset repository. You can search it outside the game using a web browser.

To download directly: Click the download arrow. The asset will open in Content Manager automatically if you have “FTP Helper” enabled.

If not found, search the DLS (or community sites) with the KUID.

If still missing, try searching by partial KUID (author ID) or asset name fragments.

As a last resort, search forums or ask the community—include the full KUID and a screenshot of the missing-content message.
