Install Time is a Grind Here is the catch. You save 10GB of storage, but you pay for it in time. On an average HDD, the DODI repack can take 45 to 90 minutes to unpack. On a modern SSD? Maybe 20 minutes. But if you’re on an old laptop from 2012? Go make a sandwich. Then another sandwich.
