Lychee Gshade Preset By Jaechy By Jaechy Work -

Jaechy’s Lychee does not include a heavy LUT (Look-Up Table) by default. To add a fantasy tint:

The preset uses AmbientLight.fx and PPFX SSDO (Screen Space Directional Occlusion). In dark areas (like the Drowning Wench), Lychee prevents the "crushed shadow" effect. In bright zones (like Elpis), it dials down overexposure. lychee gshade preset by jaechy by jaechy work

So, what exactly is the Lychee preset? At its core, it is a .ini configuration file for GShade (or ReShade) that bundles a specific cocktail of shaders. Jaechy’s Lychee does not include a heavy LUT

Jaechy employs a customized MagicHDR.fx with a lowered bloom threshold. This creates a soft, round glow around light sources—candles, aetherytes, and limit break effects—reminiscent of anime cel-shading. In bright zones (like Elpis), it dials down overexposure

Before we talk about the pixel magic, we have to talk about the creator. In the FFXIV modding and gposing community, Jaechy has carved out a reputation for creating presets that prioritize skin texture fidelity and natural lighting over flashy, game-breaking effects.

Unlike many preset makers who rely on heavy chromatic aberration or bloom, Jaechy’s philosophy centers on what she calls "elevated realism." Her presets are designed to make the high-resolution texture mods (like those from Nexus Mods) shine without washing out character details.

The Lychee preset is her magnum opus. Named for the translucent, pinkish-white flesh of the lychee fruit, the preset aims to give character skin a soft, luminous glow—like sunlight passing through alabaster—while keeping shadows deep enough to define muscle and bone structure.
