However, the new mechanic allows you to trade your own noble privileges—such as your voting rights in the Noble Conclave or your heirloom blade—to spare your staff from grueling labor. Do you keep your status to protect them politically, or sell your past to feed them in the present?

The game’s interface has been revamped. You can now access the "Whisper Network," a rumour mill showing what the common folk (and the rival nobles) think of you. Version 0.18 adds real-time consequences; if the network says you are "soft-hearted," the Syndicate will offer bribes. If it says "ruthless," the Church sends assassins.
