Indonesia sits on the Pacific Ring of Fire and is highly vulnerable to volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, and hydro-meteorological disasters. BMKG operates thousands of sensors nationwide. However, legacy systems suffer from fragmented data processing, delayed updates, and incompatible formats. The Megasoft BMKG Update (UPD) project was initiated to create a unified software platform. This paper documents its design, implementation, and operational impact.
