Introduction: The Workshop Owner’s Dream

My Time at Portia is a charming sandbox RPG that invites players to restore their father’s rundown workshop to glory. Between gathering resources, fulfilling commissions, and befriending the townsfolk, one currency reigns supreme: Gols (money). Without it, you’re stuck with a rusty pickaxe, a broken furnace, and endless waiting.

But what if you could skip the grind? What if you could purchase every upgrade, own every blueprint, and gift the townspeople their favorite items without a second thought?

Enter the world of custom save data with unlimited money. In this guide, we’ll explore the best methods to find, install, and utilize save files for My Time at Portia that give you infinite Gols—transforming your experience from survival to god-mode creativity.

Launch My Time at Portia. Load the save slot you just replaced. Check your inventory or wallet. You should see an astronomically high number of Gols.

Copy the downloaded .dat file into your Save folder. Ensure it’s named exactly as your original (e.g., SaveData_1.dat). If the save is for slot 2, rename to SaveData_2.dat.

A common issue with badly modded saves is that they skip key tutorial quests or trigger end-game events early. The best files start at the very beginning (Day 1, Month 1, Year 1) but simply provide a massive Gol balance. This ensures you can play all missions normally.

The default path for My Time at Portia on Windows is: C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\Portia\Saved\SaveGames

Note: The AppData folder is hidden by default. Type %appdata% into your Windows search bar, then navigate to Local > Portia > Saved > SaveGames.

Inside SaveGames, you’ll see files named SaveSlot_0.dat, SaveSlot_1.dat, etc. (Slot 0 is your first save slot).

C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Portia\Saved\SaveGames

Replace YourUsername with your Windows username.
(AppData is hidden—paste the path into File Explorer to jump there.)

Copy the folder (e.g., SaveGame_0) somewhere safe before editing.
