Before NTLite or MSMG, Microsoft gave us DISM—a native command-line tool included with every Windows installation. While it cannot remove every component, it is unbeatable for basic customization and image management.
What you can do with DISM (free, built-in):
Limitations: Cannot remove “protected” system components (Edge, Cortana, Defender core). No GUI by default (though DISM++ offers a GUI wrapper – see below). ntlite alternative
