Warning: This erases all data on the phone. Since it’s a demo unit, you likely have no personal files to lose.
Step-by-step:
What if Recovery Mode is also locked?
Some aggressive demo builds disable recovery access. In that case, you need a PC and OPPO’s flashing tool (see Bonus section below).
Some OPPO demo units have a hidden "Demo Apk."
So, you’ve just bought a "new" Oppo phone, or perhaps you are trying to set up a display unit for retail, and you are stuck with a persistent message on the screen. Maybe it says "Retail Mode," "Demo Mode," or keeps playing a highlight video on repeat.

If you’re using Notepad++, all the files in your application are simply saved on your hard drive somewhere, whether it’s where you specified they be saved, or in the default save location I mentioned in the post above. If you would like to make sure those files are backed up, I would recommend using standard solutions like OneDrive, Google Drive, or even GitHub. I personally use GitHub to “backup” all the draft files I create for this blog, and it works really well! I hope that helps!
