Update 0.2.2.0 builds on 0.2.1.0 with quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and balance tweaks centered on the new Kirigiri content. Players should expect smoother gameplay, clearer UI feedback, and adjustments to Pal behaviors and drop rates related to Kirigiri encounters.
The most significant shift concerns Raid Pals (the ones you summon via the Summoning Altar, like Bellanoir or the datamined "Dark Mutant" types).
In 0.2.1.0: Raid bosses would frequently clip through the altar, run halfway across the map, or despawn entirely if you moved more than 100 meters away.
In 0.2.2.0 (Kirigiri):
The "Kirigiri" updates serve one purpose: to prepare the battlefield for Sakurajima.
Because 0.2.2.0 fixed the memory allocator, Pocketpair can now implement the following in the next major patch (v0.3.0):
