PipePhase 9.8 features:
If you're looking to learn pipeline hydraulics or multiphase flow modeling, consider academic resources, textbooks (e.g., Brill & Mukherjee's "Multiphase Flow in Wells"), or free simulation tools with similar capabilities.
Would you like guidance on open-source alternatives or learning resources for pipeline simulation?
You cannot legally download PipePhase 9.8 as a standalone product from a vendor. AVEVA has since integrated its capabilities into modern suites:
If you need to run a legacy 9.8 model today, your best options are:
If your company has an active maintenance contract, log into the Schneider Electric Software Portal (formerly the Invensys Support Center). Archived versions—including PipePhase 9.8—are often available for download to licensed users. You will need a valid customer ID and web account.
If you have a legitimate need for PipePhase 9.8 (e.g., you hold a valid license from a company that purchased it years ago), here is how to obtain it legally:
If you're an existing license holder needing the installer, you should:
Downloading AVEVA™ PIPEPHASE™ 9.8 (formerly SimSci) requires an active license and access to the official AVEVA Global Customer Support (GCS) pipephase 9.8 download

PIPEPHASE 9.8 is a steady-state multiphase flow simulation software used primarily in the oil and gas industry to model gathering networks and pipeline systems. Official downloads and upgrades for this software are managed through the AVEVA Learning Academy or the official AVEVA Support Portal. Key Features of PIPEPHASE 9.8
This version introduced several critical enhancements to modeling capabilities and user experience:
Modeling Improvements: Includes the Bahadori temperature drop model for control devices like chokes and regulators, and integration with TDM databases.
Enhanced Wellbore Data: Improved tabular data entry for wellbore profiles, allowing for more precise well definition.
Infrastructure & Support: Added support for newer operating systems and Microsoft Office 365 desktop versions.
New Fluid Models: Additional devices supported for the STEAM fluid model and the Kartoatmodjo heavy oil correlation for blackoil models.
Analysis Tools: Implementation of the API 14E erosional velocity method and NACE corrosion risk analysis for surface piping. Typical Applications If you're looking to learn pipeline hydraulics or

It´se the best site for teachers who are looking for listening exercices in a authentic way.
Thanks a lot. Unfortunatly since 3 weeks (end of July 2022) the access is not possible.
Please, don´t leave us without it. CONTINUE…
The site is unavailable again and page never loads, I have reported it and hope it will be fixed quickly. Lesson learned, download a safety copy the files you really need for teaching.

UPDATE 8/22: The site should be back online by the end of next week, or before Sept. 1 the latest. They are also working to ensure similar errors will not happen in the future.
Thank you for the update, Adam!
Hi everyone,
I have been using audio-lingua for years and as I am prepping for this semester, I am upset to find that I can no longer access it. For about two weeks I have been getting
“This site can’t be reached. The webpage at https://www.audio-lingua.eu/spip.php?rubrique2&lang=en might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR”
Any ideas where it might have moved and how to find it??
Adam said this to another commenter: we have seen this error before that usually gets resolved but we found a contact for their webmaster and let them know about it, hope it will be fixed soon.
The site is back online.
Came here to also see if others were having trouble. If this site doesn’t come back up, are there other similar sites?
Adam says that their webmaster is hoping to get it fixed soon. He got in touch with them.
Erica, we have seen this error before that usually gets resolved but we found a contact for their webmaster and let them know about it, hope it will be fixed soon.
Hello Adam,
Thank you for this article. Is there any update about audio-lingua.eu ?
I hope to use this resource in my German classroom again!
The security certificate has expired for this website, audio-lingua.eu. I cannot get access to use for school until they update their certificate.
Do you have a contact, so I can request this?
Hi Erica, I am attempting to get to their site and am getting a timeout error, even when I ignore the certificate. I hope they will come back online soon!
