PolyVision interactive whiteboards (commonly known as the ēno, Walk-and-Talk, or Touch Board series) are durable staples in many classrooms and boardrooms. However, because the brand has changed ownership over the years—moving from PolyVision to Steelcase and evolving its software support—finding the correct driver can be surprisingly difficult.

If your computer no longer recognizes your board, the calibration is off, or the interactive pen isn't working, you likely need to update or reinstall the driver.

Installing a legacy driver on a modern operating system requires a few extra steps. Follow this protocol precisely.

Apple has dropped 32-bit application support entirely. The last PolyVision driver compatible with macOS was version 3.1.0 (32-bit), which does not work on macOS Catalina (10.15) or newer.

Option A: Use Boot Camp (Windows on Mac) Install Windows 10 via Boot Camp. The Windows PolyVision driver works perfectly inside the Windows partition.

Option B: Third-Party Middleware (OpenTabletDriver) The open-source community has created generic tablet drivers. While not official, OpenTabletDriver v0.6+ can be configured to recognize PolyVision’s HID protocol. This is an advanced option requiring JSON configuration.
