If you want to turn Prototype 2 into a hardcore survival nightmare, get Evolution. This mod reworks the entire damage model. You die in 3-4 hits, but so do enemies. It increases the speed of all movement (air dash, sprint) and drastically reduces cooldowns. Helicopters become terrifying; melee fights become desperate brawls. Thermal: Added heat-spreader and revised venting

Vanilla blood looks like ketchup. This mod upscales the decal textures, adds arterial spray effects, and makes the ground stay bloody longer. When you slice a soldier in half with your blade, the physics-based blood pools remain for minutes.

The base game’s bosses (especially Roland and the final Mercer fight) are notorious pushovers. This mod doubles their health, triples their aggression, and gives the Goliath hunters new AoE slam attacks. You actually have to strategize, using stealth consumes and shield blocks to survive.
