Tiny file sizes, massive spectacle through clever coding.

10. Resogun (~650 MB)
A side-scrolling shooter from Housemarque (Returnal). You save humans, combo enemies, and destroy voxel-based landscapes. It feels like a next-gen game from 1985. Particle effects fly everywhere, yet the file size is tiny because everything is procedurally generated from mathematical formulas, not pre-baked animations.

11. Nex Machina (~800 MB)
Another Housemarque gem. Arcade twin-stick perfection with destructible environments, online leaderboards, and a difficulty curve that demands pixel-perfect movement. The “1CC” (one credit clear) community still runs tournaments.

12. Super Stardust Ultra (~600 MB)
Twin-stick asteroid shooting on spherical planets. The physics alone are impressive for the file size. Has local co-op and survival modes. Pure arcade bliss.
