Look for a file named exactly: psxevcd_v2.27_patched.7z or psxeven-2.27-win32-mod.zip. Avoid .exe installers.

Set compatibility mode
Right-click PsxVcd.exe → Properties → Compatibility → Check: Look for a file named exactly: psxevcd_v2
Create a working directory
Inside C:\PSXVCD_Patched\, create a folder named IMAGES to store your BIN/CUE files.
First launch
Double-click the patched EXE. If you see a "Missing MSVBVM60.DLL" error, download and install the Visual Basic 6 Runtime from Microsoft (legacy component).
