Evil 9 Prokhozhdenie — Resident

Every great Resident Evil game needs a stalker. Mr. X. Lady D. Jack Baker. Prokhozhdenie introduces The Controller.

He is not a monster. He is a man. An elderly, gaunt Russian scientist named Dr. Mikhail Volkov, the creator of the Koshchei parasite. He walks the halls of the facility slowly, dragging a length of heavy anchor chain.

He doesn't chase you. He wanders. The horror of Volkov is that he is bored. He knows the facility better than you. He has been "passing through" for forty years, trapped by his own creation. When he spots you, he doesn't roar. He sighs. He says, in a tired whisper: "Prokhozhdenie... delayet nas sil'nee." ("Passing through... makes us stronger.")

Then the chain speeds up. And you run.

This area shifts from rural horror to industrial dread – a ruined Umbrella subsidiary overgrown with mold. The main threat is "Mold Crawlers" – fast, quadrupedal enemies that leap.

Walkthrough priorities:

  • Once power is on, access the Elevator Controls – you need a Fuse (inside the incinerator, but you must first cool it using a fire extinguisher from the cafeteria).
  • Resource management tip: There are exactly 12 Crawlers in this chapter. Stealth kill them with the knife from behind (hold L2/LT to aim, then R2/RT) to save ammo. resident evil 9 prokhozhdenie

Q: Where is the infinite ammo charm? A: It is inside the locked safe in the Mayor’s Mansion (Chapter 7). The combination is random per playthrough, but the clue is on the back of a photograph found in the library.

Q: How to heal the Sorrow Meter fast? A: Play a vinyl record on any record player. There are hidden records in cupboards. The best one is “Moonlight Sonata” (found in the school basement).

Q: Can you save the dog? A: Yes. In Chapter 2, do NOT shoot the infected dog. Instead, throw a raw fish (found in the market) at it. It will lead you to a hidden stash of Magnum ammo in Chapter 14. Every great Resident Evil game needs a stalker

While the specific search term is a misunderstanding, the game itself is one of the worst-kept secrets in the industry. Capcom has not officially announced the title yet, but reliable insiders and leakers have provided a substantial amount of information.
