2. The Crusade Link The term "Crusade" in this context refers to the Invaders’ Crusade. Aradia and her Reavers had invaded Chamon, carving a path of destruction to claim territory for Slaanesh. They believed they were conquering in the name of their god, but they were actually pawns in a much larger scheme orchestrated by the Blind Playwright (a powerful Daemon known as the Chorister of the Dark Prince).
The "link" is the manipulation: The Crusade was never about conquest; it was a stage designed solely for the climax of Aradia’s story.
3. The Duel Rhyas challenged Aradia, not out of malice, but seemingly out of destiny. Aradia, drunk on her own perceived invincibility, accepted the duel. She believed she would slay this intruder and prove her dominance. However, Rhyas moved with a speed and grace that Aradia could not match.
