Show Hidden Finder Link < DIRECT 2026 >
You asked to "show hidden Finder link," but the Path Bar is just the beginning. macOS has two other hidden link structures.
If you visit your Library folder every day, you don't want to toggle it each time you reboot. You can "unhide" just the Library folder permanently.
Via the Finder Menu (No Terminal Required): show hidden finder link
Now, Library will live in your sidebar permanently, even after a reboot.
Via Terminal (The "Unhide" Command):
If you want the folder to be visible inside your home folder (not just the sidebar), open Terminal and paste this:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
Press Enter. The Library folder will now be permanently visible in your home directory. You asked to "show hidden Finder link," but
To reverse it (hide it again):
chflags hidden ~/Library/
