Strip Rock-paper-scissors - Ghost Edition May 2026

Ghosts cannot use normal Rock, Paper, Scissors. Instead, they use Ectoplasm, Moan, and Flicker:

Ghost-on-Ghost rule: If two ghosts face off, they use these three signs. The loser must “haunt” (perform a silly scary gesture) before the next round.

Ghost-on-Living rule: If a ghost plays against a living player, the living player uses normal RPS, but the ghost uses the Ghost signs. The ghost’s sign always beats the living player’s sign if it’s照the chart above.
Example: Living player throws Rock. Ghost throws Ectoplasm → Ectoplasm “absorbs” Rock. Ghost wins.

This gives ghosts a major advantage, making the game very interesting once the first person sheds their final sock. strip rock-paper-scissors - ghost edition

You’ve played the classic. You’ve suffered through the awkward dorm room version. But have you ever challenged a restless spirit to a high-stakes game of wits, luck, and slow-motion de-sheeting?

Welcome to Strip Rock-Paper-Scissors: Ghost Edition — where the loser doesn't just take off a sock. The loser fades away.

This fourth option completely shatters the 33% chance of winning in the standard game. Bluffing becomes critical because you never know if your opponent will “play dead” or “go ghost.” Ghosts cannot use normal Rock, Paper, Scissors

Standard Strip RPS has one problem: once someone loses all their clothes, the game ends with an anticlimactic “well… now what?” The Ghost Edition solves that with an afterlife mechanic.

In this version, losing your last garment doesn’t eliminate you. It haunts you. You become a ghost—still in the game, but operating under a whole new set of spooky rules.

At its core, the game is exactly what the name suggests: a stripped-down (pun intended) version of the classic hand game, but with three major differences: Ghost-on-Ghost rule: If two ghosts face off, they

Standard Rock-Paper-Scissors has three moves: Rock crushes Scissors, Scissors cuts Paper, Paper covers Rock. In the Ghost Edition, there is a fourth move: Ghost. The Ghost is intangible—it cannot be crushed, cut, or covered. However, Rock, Paper, and Scissors are all “living” moves, and the Ghost haunts them.

Players: 2 (One Living, One "Ghost")
Goal: Be the first to fully materialize (ghost) or stay dressed (human).

After three consecutive losses, either player can invoke The Cold Spot. The ghost must pass a hand through the human's remaining clothing without touching it. If the ghost succeeds (quick, cold draft), the human removes two items. If the ghost fails (tangible hand on skin), the ghost loses the sheet entirely on the spot.

Each player starts with 6-10 “strippable” items. Undergarments are usually the final tier. House rules always apply: no one is forced to strip below their comfort level.
