The Regiment: The "Tabletop Boys" are a legendary crusade fleet operating out of the nebula sector known as The Shelf. Unlike standard imperial guard or genetically modified super-soldiers, the Tabletop Boys are unique in their origin—they are beings of "Soul-Plastic," animated by the sheer will of the Collector.

The Hael Top: The Hael Top are the elite vanguard of the fleet. They take their name from the ancient Low-Gothic dialect word for "Health" or " preservation." Their doctrine is simple: Hold the line, never yield, and preserve the objective.

They are easily identified on the battlefield by their distinct vertical stripe heraldry—usually painted in stark white or red across their helmets—and their obsession with high-ground tactics. While the rest of the Tabletop Boys might be scattered across the lower levels of a battlefield, the Hael Top are always found on the highest ruin, the peak of a bastion, or the upper decks of a drop-ship, raining down fire with immovable stoicism.

Current Engagement: The Hael Top are currently deployed in the Sector V11, a region of space plagued by gravitational anomalies. V11 is a chaotic mess of floating debris and asteroid bases. The Hael Top excel here, using their "Eternal Watch" tactic to secure floating platforms against waves of xenos invaders.

Unique Warlord Trait (Hael Top Captain):

Before we dissect the "V11 Hael Top," we need to establish the source. The Tabletop Boys is a wildly popular actual-play tabletop RPG and wargaming channel known for blending high-stakes narrative campaigns with expert-level miniature customization. Unlike other shows that use generic tokens or official pre-paints, The Tabletop Boys commission bespoke sculpts for every major character—and their "Hael" storyline (Season 3) became a fan favorite.

The character Hael (a half-iron golem, half-void sorcerer) was originally introduced as a supporting antagonist. However, due to the fan demand for his "Top" variant (a tactical commander loadout), the creators launched a series of seasonal miniature updates. That brings us to Version 11.

If you are lucky enough to secure a genuine kit, you are likely intimidated by the sheer detail. Here is a quick-start painting guide recommended by the Tabletop Boys’ official hobby tutorial (Episode 12 of their "Painting with the Boys" spin-off):

To understand the V11 Hael Top, you must first understand the creators. The Tabletop Boys (TTB) started as a YouTube collaboration between three veteran sculptors based out of the Netherlands. They gained notoriety for refusing to use 3D printing. In an era of STL files and digital mass production, TTB insists on traditional hand-sculpted masters using green stuff, milliput, and orthopedic wax.

Their numbering system is sequential. V1 through V10 were small-batch accessories: shoulder pads, chemical drums, or alien flora. But V11 was different. Leaked design documents suggested the team wanted to build something that captured the "weight" of a forgotten god.

Build tip: Healthy lists mix 1 Anchor, 1–2 Controllers/Specialists, and 2–3 Skirmishers/Flex units depending on mission.
