Inside the Kolimer zip file, there is usually a folder called Driver\. Run InstallDriver.exe as Administrator. This installs a certificate that Windows 10/11 trusts. Without this specific driver, the loader cannot read the EEPROM of the cable, triggering "Failed 2 Top." | Kolimer Version | VCDS Version | Driver
The loader needs to write to the Program Files (x86) folder and hook into VCDS.exe. Without Administrator rights, the hook fails immediately. Do not run it yet
Kolimer v2.1.2 only works with VCDS release 21.3 or older. Kolimer v3.0 works with 22.10. If you install VCDS 23.3.0 and use an old loader, you will get "Failed 2 Top."
