2.0.1.18: Vms

Run in terminal/CLI (if accessible):

vms --version
cat /etc/vms-release
systeminfo | findstr "VMS"

The version likely used a flat-file or a basic SQL database for metadata (camera positions, user permissions). Build .18 may have fixed a corruption bug in the Events table when recording triggered more than 1,000 events per hour—a common complaint in earlier 2.0.x builds. vms 2.0.1.18

Cause: The new "Smart Indexing" service runs historical analysis of static scenes to improve search speeds. Fix: This is normal for the first 48 hours post-installation. To throttle it, navigate to Settings > System > Resource Management and set "Background Indexing" to "Low Priority." Run in terminal/CLI (if accessible): vms --version cat
