War Thunder Bombing Chart Free May 2026
You don’t need a third-party app. Every bomb’s stat card shows:
Example: A 500 kg bomb may have only 280 kg TNT if it’s a general-purpose bomb, or 400+ kg if it’s a dedicated high-explosive bomb.
Note: War Thunder uses metric units in most regions. Charts below assume no strong wind and standard gravity (9.81 m/s²). For bombs that arm/detonate differently or have high drag, adjust by trial — heavier larger bombs tend to fall slightly faster (less drift).
Believe it or not, low-tier bombs are sometimes better. war thunder bombing chart free

Below is a community-sourced, free-to-use chart. Note: Values can change with major updates, but this reflects the current long-standing meta.

⚠️ Map variation exists: Maps like Spain or Vietnam have tougher bases than Korea or Moscow. Always round up your TNT equivalent by 10–15%.
A famous Reddit user (u/TheRealAOD) maintains a live spreadsheet called "WT Bomb & Rocket TNT Table." It is 100% free. Simply Google: "War Thunder TNT equivalent sheet Reddit" — the first link is always the current version. It includes:

Let’s say you are flying the famous Pe-8 (USSR) at BR 5.3 in Realistic Battles. According to the chart, you need 1,000 kg TNT.
Now take the B-17E Flying Fortress (USA) at BR 5.0. It carries 6 x 500 lb bombs. Those 500 lb bombs have low explosive filler (approx 120 kg TNT each). Total TNT = ~720 kg. You need 1,000 kg. Result: You will fail to kill a base.
The Fix: In the B-17, take the 8 x 1000 lb bomb loadout. Each 1000 lb bomb has ~240 kg TNT. 8 x 240 kg = 1,920 kg TNT. That kills the base and damages the next one.
