Throughout the campaign (specifically around Levels 4, 7, and 10), you will encounter walls with very obvious cracks plastered across them. Let’s put this into perspective

Late in the game, levels become sprawling mazes. The secret locations here aren't about loot—they are about survival.

Most players rush through the subway tunnel shooting the crawling ghouls. That is a mistake. The better play is to look up. The difference is night and day

How to find it: Immediately after the first tunnel collapse, you will see a broken maintenance ladder on the left wall. You cannot climb it directly. Instead, shoot the explosive red barrel behind the ladder. This doesn’t damage you but blows a hole in the wall texture.

The Secret: Walk through the hole to find a hidden rail control room. Inside, you will find the Railgun Sniper (one-hit kill until Act 4) and a console. Interact with the console (press E, Up, Down, Left, Right quickly). If done right, the screen flashes green, and a train will drive through the main tunnel outside, killing every zombie on screen instantly.

Why it’s better: This isn't just loot; it’s a "kill switch" for a massive wave. Using this secret makes the Act 2 boss trivial.
