Once logged in, you will usually land on a "Status" or "Network" page.

  • Static IP: Only select this if your ISP provided you with a specific, static IP address. Enter the IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS manually.
  • Set up Wi‑Fi:
  • Configure DHCP: leave default DHCP enabled unless you need custom IP ranges; note the DHCP range for connected devices.
  • Set correct time zone / NTP server for logs if available.
  • Out of the box, KJ33 routers have weak security. Fix these now.

    This is the most critical part of the KJ33 router setup. You need to log into the web interface.

    Critical: Do NOT connect the router to your computer via Ethernet yet. We’ll do that after the router initializes.
